Rain

It rained for about 10 minutes the other day. We were already outside eating our popsicles trying to cool off so the rain was a fun suprise. For some reason Tyler insisted on wearing his coat and spent 5 of the 10 minutes looking for it, but Dylan wasn't scared to get soaked head to toe. They mainly played with the run off water from our house. We don't have gutters, so were the roof creases the water really poors off. They had a blast and we really need the rain so hopefully more will come soon.

Sprinkler Park

The sprinkler park is one of our favorite places to go to cool off in the Texas heat and it is free. We also love going with our cute friends Jaeden and Avery.

What do you do...

...with a 50 inch plasma tv when you already have a very nice 50 inch plasma?

So unlike our very lucky friend Dustin who wins everything, we never win anything, until today. Jeff won this tv in a drawing and they delivered it yesterday. Problem you may ask? Well, we already have a tv just like this but a different brand (samsung) that we really like, and is already mounted and everything and I have nowhere to put another 50 inch monster tv. Jeff thinks it would be fun to put them side by side. Note that I didn't laugh when he said that, because I am pretty sure he was serious. Anyway, it is way to big, at least 10+ inches, to put in our room so for now it is just sitting there all boxed and taped not to be opened. No, it didn't come with a reciept or yes we would take it back and just get something else. They actually delivered it and were suppose to set it up for us but like I said where? I think we are going to end up seeing if we can sell it on craigslist. Then we will have to decide to be responsible and put the money in savings (we do have a baby coming to pay for) or maybe go buy something else fun. Well, if you are in the Austin area and are looking to buy a new tv let me know I'll give ya a deal, I will probably have this beast on craigslist by friday. (Kids not included)

4th of July weekend

We had a really great weekend together. Believe it or not Jeff didn't work for almost 4, well... 3 whole days. It was very nice to have him all to ourselves for that long. On Thursday, the 3rd, we went out to the lake. It is so pretty out there and we had a lot of fun hanging out with friends until the big fireworks show. Thats right, we didn't actually swim in the lake, but the boys had a blast in the kiddie pool and luke warm hot tub. We also ate lots of watermelon. I think Dylan almost ate all of it, the table it was on was at his level and he wasn't afraid to help himself. Dad and Dylan waiting for it to get dark. Our first roman candles ever. Kind of scary (for Mom) but they loved it.
The show is about to start.
Tyler and Dylan wanting to chase the fireworks

Friday morning we went to a parade, for those that don't know Jeff loves parades, and hates when I put him and the boys in matching shirts, I only do it to laugh about how much he hates it. It was hot but we had fun. We then went home to cool off, nap, eat hot dogs, corn, and more melon and then headed out to watch more fireworks with friends.

Tyler only wanted the candy. If they didn't have candy, he would sit on the curb and pout like this. Dylan just wanted to eat the candy, I finally broke down and gave him a sucker, what a mess. See how much he is sweating, he is already a little heater so by the time we got back to the car his whole head was soaked.

Dylan loves corn.

Watching fireworks with our friends the Johnson girls.

We are so happy we had such a fun and stressfree weekend together, we hope you all did to!

Playgroup

We had playgroup at our house this week. There are usually six kids and every Wednesday we switch houses and moms drop off all the kids and get three whole hours. All the kids brought there swim suits today and they played in the sprinkler and slip n slide. They are such cute kids and have so much fun together. It is the high light of Tyler's week.

Don't ask what Tyler is doing in this picture, I just don't know.

I know...weird

So this actually kind of creeps me out when people post things like this, but I was blog surfing and someone had this and thought what the heck. I thought it might be cool to see how big the baby is and exactly how many days I have left to go. It just so happened to day is the 100 day count down. I do wish that number was smaller, but then I was also a little freaked that my baby is that big already, although, I already feel huge and this baby is so high that I am already struggling to breath but... I don't even know. Okay, before I start complaining about how much I don't enjoy (not "hate", not aloud to say that) pregnancy, I will stop. Just thought this was interesting and someone might either think it was cool or get creeped out like me, I will post cute pictures of my kids next time.

Okay, one more thing. I also thought it was interesting that it lets you chose up to TEN babies you could be having. That means that someone out there has had ten babies before right? Oh...that poor, poor woman. Thinking about her I guess I really really have nothing to complain about. I am now just grateful I am not having Decaplets.
