His new thing

Dylan has learned this great new trick from his big brother. He can reach anything if he can drag a chair to it. It is driving me crazy, but sometimes he is just to cute to get angry, even when he dove into the chocolate cake. He was so proud of himself.

Number Three!

We had our ultrasound yesterday. Baby Megerle is officially a BOY! There was no mistaking it. After you have seen "boy parts" as they like to call them at the appointment, as much as we have you know exactly what you are seeing. We are excited, the boys/Tyler is very excited. He has been telling us it is boy for a while now and that girls cry to much, which I guess means we can't have one. Anyway, a girl would definitely have been different and I think that Jeff would have loved it, but boys seem to be what we know and can be trusted with. My scanner for some reason isn't working so I will keep trying to post the ultrasound pictures but I am not sure I can get it to work. He actually wasn't very cooperative so none of the pictures are all that great if you don't know what you are looking at. I hope everyone is having a good week, I am going to try to be a little better with my blogging this month so stay tuned. We love and miss you all!

Our May

Here are some happening from May. It was a really great month with a trip to Grandma Megerle's and the the Texas heat really hitting hard. We were suppose to have our ultrasound last week and have been rescheduled twice so today is finally the day and I will let you know.

Daddy's Helper

Dylan is fascinated by the lawn mower and really anything that Daddy may be doing "oussside." We have a little mower for him to push but it has proven not to be good enough for him, he wants the real deal.

Last Day of School

Tyler's last day of school was two weeks ago. They ended the year with a little music program all in Spanish. They have a Spanish lesson once a week and have been learning the songs all year. Notice Tyler's hair... he insisted that I spike it all up for him with gel. He loves school and his school does have a summer program, but we decided this summer we are going to be doing swim lessons so we will start again in the fall.

My Guitar Hero

This happens a couple times a week. I can't find Dylan and hear just a small clicking sound. Well here he is... he has dragged the guitar from Guitar Hero into our room and is lounging on our bed playing away all alone. No the game isn't even on, he just likes to sit and pretend. This cracks me up. I love that he even puts the strap around his head.

We love the bath. Well, sort of, this just happened to be a good day. (Amy, I found the water color tablets just at Walmart, I think it was you that I talked about this with?)

So I try to get them to wear these hats outside like when we go to the lake or whatever, I know dorky, but I am worried about the sun, and of course they don't want to and throw them back at me. But we get home and the rest of the afternoon they won't take them off inside. Dylan walks around saying "hat, hat" the rest of the day. Silly kids.I wish this picture had turned out. The autofocus was obviously not working as fast as I was, and of course the minute they both saw the camera they moved and wouldn't go back. It was just so cute of them laying on eachother watching cartoons together.Say CHEESE!!!

F-O-R-E-V-E-R

Just kidding.... Saturday, May 3rd, was our 5th anniversary and it hasn't been forever but somedays are still a little longer than others, but probably more because of the kids then anything. LOL! We didn't do a whole lot. My totally non gamer husband decided we needed to get a Wii, not really for the Wii itself but so that we could get Guitar Hero.

Happy Anniversary!Really, Jeff is not into video games at all, so this was really weird. I guess while I was in Utah with the kids a couple of weeks ago he played it at a friends house and he has been on the hunt for it ever since. Guitar Hero wasn't that hard to find, but the Wii's don't stay in stock for very long around here so that took a while. Well, anyway we got it all on Friday and spent most of the day Saturday playing away. I wish I had taken pictures. We played in our pajamas until mid afternoon when I couldn't take it anymore and decided we should try to be a little productive for the day. Tyler was more upset then anyone and now everyday he asks if he can play the WE! He likes to do the boxing which he is actually really good at. Anyway, Jeff and I went to dinner and then dessert at Cheesecake Factory that night remembering old times and making plans for the future. We had a great day with the kids and the next time we are playing Guitar Hero in our pj's I will snap some shots.

SUPRISE!

Yes, suprised is exactly how I feel. Also a little overwelmed and just trying not to cry at the thought of three... Anyway, the details. Due-October 9th. Find out what we are having in 4 weeks, which means that I am 16ish weeks now. Send me some positive thoughts, I am trying really hard to have them on my own.

Freckles!!!

That is right, my precious Dylan is getting freckles and they are way to cute! I think he is going to have the freckle jean that I am so proud of. Tyler has a few and they are cute, but they never started appearing this early, 16 months, so I think they are here to stay and hopefully get more!

Happy Easter!

We had a good Easter. I didn't take many pictures of the actual day, but we went to a few parties and egg hunts in the weeks before.

New York

I went away for the First Annual Girls Weekend. I knew it was time to get away when Jeff mentioned that he had never been alone with Tyler overnight before and he is almost 4 years old. Anyway... we went to New York City and had a blast. We saw the broadway show Wicked, which I highly reccommend to everyone, ate at a restaurant in Little Italy and had the best pasta I have ever had, road the subway everywhere, took a scary taxi ride to and from the temple, went to the Statue of Liberty, and finally went to the tennis match of my life time and saw my hero Pete Sampras.

It was very windy and chilly at the Statue of Liberty but well worth the trip.

Finally to the big tennis showdown between Pete Sampras and Rodger Federer. Yes, we were a little early, note the empty seats, but it was actually sold out and well worth the wait. Pete is my all time favorite player and he is retired now so you don't get to see him play very often, he was and is the best player setting records that have yet to be broken. Rodger Feder is ten years younger and the current number one player in the game now and yes, admittedly catching up to Petes records.

In the end it was a great match, however Pete lost in a very intense third set tie break. I was a little sad but still so happy and greatful I got to see my favorite player in action.

Back Blogging

I'm Back! Well, I have been back for a while now, but have been neglecting our poor blog. I guess I have some back bloging to do so hang in with me and you will be caught up in no time at all.

MOMMA!!!

We have had a busy couple of weeks and I am leaving tomorrow for my big weekend in New York City. I am so excited for my trip, but I thought I should catch up on this before I go. Well, were do we start... The night of the last day I posted (a Monday) Dylan fell in the bath tub and broke a tooth. It was the top, front, left one. The whole bottom half of the tooth was gone the gums were bleeding and of course he was crying. We got him cleaned up and then called a pediatrician friend of ours to see if I should be rushing to the emergency room, or what. At first we didn't really think it was that bad, I was almost thinking that he would be okay until Thursday when he had his 15 month check up, but our friend told us to look for nerves that could be exposed in the tooth because that would need a pediatric dentist to look at it the next day. Sure enough we drove the poor baby crazy looking in his mouth, but came to the conclusion that we could see nerve. I felt like the worst mother ever I think more than I ever have before. I barely could sleep and swear to you that I dreamt all night about my pirate baby with a missing front tooth and guaranteed Halloween costume for the next 5-7 years. First thing the next morning I called pediatric dentist and they got us in early. The dentist was great and confirmed that nerves were exposed and gave us some options. #1 (my worst fear) Pull the tooth and wait for new tooth to come in, #2 (doctor recommended) Perform a baby root canal on the tooth and then put a baby crown on it, #3 (not really an option or recommended) Leave it alone, it will abscess with in days/weeks, baby be in a lot of pain and then pull tooth anyway. Yes, of course we did #2, we went back on Friday morning and everything went really well. No, he was not knocked out completely, they gave him some medicine that made him really loopy and silly and then laughing gas on top of that. He was actually a very happy baby through most of the procedure and then a very cranky baby that afternoon when all the good stuff wore off. I also had to take him to the doctor the day before for his check up, we held off on shots a week, figured he had been through and couldn't risk getting a fever before the tooth procedure. We did take before and after pictures, but they are on Jeff's camera and once I download them I will post them. The tooth looks really great, there still is a small chance that it could abscess, but the dentist reassured us that if that happened we could bring him back and they would pull it for free! Thanks Doc! Last week we had some friends visiting in nice warm Texas. Mona and Bridger were grateful to escape the cold of Wisconsin and visit missed friends and coworkers. Thanks for hanging out with us, we loved having you here and had a great time! This past week Dylan went back to the doctor to get his shots. He has also been sick and crankier than ever. Today was the first day I thought maybe he was better, knock on wood. His other new thing is also to follow me around or just yell from were ever "MOMMA!!!" I guess that is what I get for being so upset when Tyler didn't want to say it until we was almost two. Goodluck to Jeff while I am gone!

Want a ride?

Tyler got this fun four wheeler when he was two and could barely reach the peddle to make it go. Now he is a pro and Dylan has gotten tired of just watching him, so Tyler now gives rides. Come on down and he will give you a cruise around our yard.

Here is my sad attempt to get my kids to take a cute Valentine picture together. Tyler has always been good at sitting still and posing for a picture, but Dylan doesn't care so much, therefore Tyler is trying to force him. Good Times!

Dylan Thoughts

Dylan thoughts...What else can I pull down off the table? Oh man... that cup is just to far away.

Lately when Tyler forgets to take his dishes to the sink Dylan has found it the best opportunity to chow down a little more. This kid loves to eat and he doesn't care if it is soggy or off the floor. It is driving me crazy. I guess I should be a better mother and pay more attention, but he is getting so fast.

Look how proud of himself he is. I guess I just need to work on getting him better at the clean up. LOL He always also seem to get so dirty after I just get him ready for the day in the last clean shirt. I think kids have radar for this.

Dylan thoughts... This is the last clean shirt and pants mom has for me. I know this because I picked all the dirty clothes out of the hamper and threw them all over the floor and around the house just a few minutes ago. Let see what she is going to do now!

Texas Vote!

For some reason Texas is deciding again to change the license plate. I swear just a couple years ago they changed it to have all the little outlines on bottom and sky scene on top.
