I'm sorry about the rocks!

Dear Mom and Dad,
I am so sorry. I am sorry that as a small child I used to bring rocks into the house. I picked them up walking to and from school, at school, in the yard, and anywhere else I saw one that looked like it was worth something. Now that I have a four year old of my own that has decided to bring home rocks and put them in secret places that I usually find with my feet, I understand some of the frustration you may have had with me. I do still think rocks are kind of cool, so we have come up with a permanent special box for his new found collections, but I just want you to know that I understand now that most all rocks really do belong outside. Thank you for your patience with me and my rocks. I love you!
P.S.
The purple one is his favorite.

Sleep

How do you do it?
In the car eating lunch?
In the glider with your mouth open and togue about to fall out?
After getting a tooth pulled?
Wrapped in a towel after vomitting everywhere and getting stripped down naked?
Like a newborn baby?
At the table eating a popsicle?
When mom wishes the other one was sleeping?
In a tanning bed?
In a high chair?
With fish and mallows?
Heads togther?
With a banana?
With one eye half open (all my kids do this) and mysterious green goop between the eyes???
In a swing?
On mom's bed?
On the kitchen floor?
Or... with a monkey?
It amazes me that they can fall asleep anywhere. I swear they have beds. The good thing is that they are really portable and stay sleeping. Lucky me.

February

So February has been a pretty uneventful month but here are a few things I thought of. We had a good Valentines day with the kids. Kyle had his 4 month check up and he is officially one small dude, only 12lbs 3oz (8th %). Jeff was more than happy to get his cast off, the rest of us are just glad we don't have to hear him complain about it anymore.
Dylan used his last diaper.
I am way to into the shows Biggest Loser and The Bachelor. Our taxes are finally in to the CPA. I got a much deserved hair cut. We won a Wii. And we are enjoying the 80 degree weather, but pray that it will rain soon.
I hope everyone is having a great month!

Trip to Houston

A few weekends ago we packed up and went to Houston to get away. We stayed at a nice place on the water. The view was great!

We went to the Space Center for the day. We had a really great time. There was lots of interesting stuff and they took you on a tram ride around the grounds. We go to go see the real mission control center, and the training facility for the astronauts. There was also a giant indoor play scape for the kids. Dylan was a little small for it, but Tyler was in heaven.

We went to a place called The Aquarium for dinner. It was really neat. They had a humongous fish tank in the middle of the restaurant. Our waitress said it was the second largest in the country? It was great entertainment while we waited for our food which was only okay. The kids were fascinated by the fish, sharks and other things.

We also rode on this cool double decker carousel, and of course we were up top.
